Quick Tips for Edius 6: How to Batch Convert Reel No Names

If you have imported tape-based media into your project and you have discovered that all of your carefully assigned  "Reel No" names of your data base have reverted to "0000000", you are probably wondering what has happened and what to do now.  This appears to be a bug (as of version 6.06) with Edius.  In fact it seems to be a bug that keeps popping up in Edius!  It appears to get fixed in one version, only to pop up again in a new release.  In this tutorial, we will show you how you can rename your Reel No Names from "0000000" back to what they are supposed to be, using a batch rename process.  This process will work, or at least should work for any other database list in Edius as well.
