Are All your Tutorials Now Free?

Yes.  We have switched from a subscription-based site to a donation and ad-based model of income generation.  We hope that this will make these Edius tips more accessible to students and other users who may be living in parts of the world where it is difficult to work with credit cards or even PayPal. 

If you would like to help us "keep the lights on", (pay for our hosting costs), please consider putting the odd tip in the "tip Jar".  Just click on the Tip Jar button in the top menu and use the "Donate" button at the bottom of the page.  You will be taken to a secure PayPal donation processing site, where you can either use your PayPal account or any major credit card to send us a tip!  We will never see your financial information or store it on our site.  It is all handled off-site, on a secure PayPal server.  

Another way you can help with our costs is to check out some of our sponsors, by clicking through to some of the products and services that may interest you.  For the most part, the large banner or box ads that we have put on our site, are companies and services that we work with, trust and appreciate, as we go about our work. For example, this website would not be possible if not for our partnership with a great Internet host, that actually streams video and has never throttled us down, Inmotion hosting.  If you have been looking for a hosting site that truly streams video, for great hosting prices, check them out! 

Some of the other advertising that appears at our site, such as google ads and the adds that now play at the beginning and end of each video tutorial, we have no control over what is advertised here.  These ads are picked based on the text that surrounds it, for relevancy, and will be different in what ever country your are in, when you watch.  I am sure that these products are also fine.... but just so you know, we didn't pick these!

Right now we are still experimenting with different types of advertising options.  Some seem to work better then others.  Some are less obnoxious than others.  Some give us more control on who we partner with.  Please bear with us while we attempt to strike a good balance between useful, appropriate, advertising and a hassle-free user experience.
