What is up with the keyboard shortcut, Ctrl + O?

I thought that Ctrl+O is the keyboard shortcut for "Add File". I am trying to use it to import media. When I use it, Edius asks me if I want to save my project and then prompts me to find a project file. What gives?

Unfortunately, “Ctrl+O”, is also the keyboard shortcut for “Open Project”and if your “focus” is not in the bin window, when you do Ctrl + O, Edius will be prompting you to look for saved projects instead of media files on your hard drive.“How do you “focus” on the bin window”, you ask?Just click anywhere in the bin window once, and your focus will be there. You might think, “well here is a good candidate for changing a keyboard shortcut”, but amazingly, “Add File” or “Import Media” is not something that shows up in the Operations column of the keyboard shortcut customization window. What you could do, at the very least, is assign the operation “Open Project” to something like “Ctrl+P” (for "Open Project"). You will still need to be focused in the Bin window for Ctrl + O to invoke your file search window, but at least you will minimize any confusion. Or do what I do when I want to import media, just click on the "import media" icon at the top of the bin window. It's easy!
